Halo 4 thoughts

This week I think it’s time to discuss how I feel about Halo 4 the game. I love playing the game but in my own option I thought the game did not have a lasting appeal. What I mean by that is, when you had played any of the other Halo Games you just wanted to just keep on playing the game over and over. I remember when Halo 1 and 2 came out; I must have played the campaign over and over on each difficulty. With the new Halo game I have only played it twice since November. I think that it totally sucks that I bought this 60 some dollar game and just have very little passion to play the game over and over like I have with its older counterparts.
Luckily there are some good notes like the new enemy’s class called Prometheans and how they make the game extra problematic. These Prometheans have three different class called Knights, Crawlers and Watchers. These guys make the game fun to play and a little more interesting in the end. I just wanted Halo 4 to have fewer stories and more action like the other games did. I know that’s slightly naïve, because when games are made to counter their older games there will be improvements here and there and won’t be able to satisfy every fans needs and wants. My last thought about the game is I still love it I just wanted a couple changes here and there. Plus I believe I will still be collecting every Halo game that will follow Halo 4.

Playing the kid game

Well this week I took it back, to the little kid mode days. I started this kid adventure, by playing Lego Batman the second one of course, which has Super Man in it and also the Flash. I could not stop laughing when playing this game because it was so comical to see these little Lego pieces that all looked like super heroes doing funny effects.  If anybody has ever just sat down for a weekend and played some old games that they had played as a child, here is my around of applause.

I think it is necessary to go back and play those old games that have been sitting in the game shelf and knock off some of that dust, because In the long run they were fun to play then and still even today. Most of the time I play shooters or RPG’s (Role Playing Games) or Adventure Games Such as Assassin's Creed. In the long run I love to bring it back to the days as a child when I played Sonic and Mario, dang that was the life back then. Playing those games made me smile and happy then an even today as well. There is nothing like playing kid games, and having a little battle here and there with a partner, on who can beat the others old score. From time to time I will definitely challenge my fiancé to some of my old Super Nintendo Games and my old PS 1 Games (Play Station 1). Like this one time I use to be the best at this one sport game on PS 1, but of course since I move to Xbox and started to play the PS 1, I forgot how to use the dang controller. So she kicked my Butt. She’s still my Favorite gaming Partner.

Achievement Junky

Getting achievements in video games are one of my favorite past times. Main reason is it's like a hunt or even a goal that most have a hard time to accomplish. At points it's like wanting to pound your head against a wall until your like finally I get it and were able to get that achievement. I swear when I started playing games at a younger age all I really wanted to accomplish was the campaign and watch the story unfold upon my eyes. I started out that way until finally I received my first console. I was like WoW I am able to have more than one reason to play this game over and over. It made the games more interesting and more entertaining. For instance in Far Cry 3 there is an achievement that you had to shoot an individual at 70 meters or more. Well it took me forever to do, but at this one moment I set up a shot, no lie in the game at 100 meters. I was so flipping excited. I was high five-ing every person near me and hooting and howling like a monkey, no joke. I tell you what, that achievement totally sucked and when I got that one it made me want to finish more achievements in this game, like free falling 100 meters or more. I was not able to do this with out my fiance though. She is my backup when I am not able to get that achievement. She too is an achievement junky like myself. She found a high spot of the far north east corner of the game and got the achievement on the third try.

To Trevor, I have to say how I feel about Resident Evil. I have to say its one of my favorite Resident Evils of all of them so far. I like how you are able to become all of these charters that all have different stories and different guns, and don't get me in to the movies. I have every movie. I just love the movies and how they are taking characters of the games and merging them into the movies. To continue with achievements I hated trying to find all the emblems in the game.

To Mike, Resident Evil is actually a fun game and of course so is Halo. I think that Halo will always be my favorite though, and for sure Far Cry 3 is one of my favorites this year with tigers and bears and other animals attacking you. At first I was kinda nervous to buy Far Cry 3 because I thought it was another poor excuse of Skyrim. I am glad I bought it now because I love hunting pirates and animals and getting inked (tattooed). I defiantly always like getting my game on.
Peace and good Night

Gaming to play

In every person there is a gamer in their blood and a kid at heart, including myself. I can't help but play video games its one of my favorite past times. For instants I just bought several new games not really proud of how much money I spent, but in the end i play them way to much. I keep playing Far Cry 3 and Resident Evil 6 and Halo 4 for starters. It feels like I am able to get lost in my own world or I should say in the video game world. I some times put my life as the hero of the game by being more out going, and more spontaneous. Putting people before myself and helping others. I think that all people should at least give the gaming world a chance, take some time out of your day play a game. Get absorbed by the game and just relax i think that people now a days just have no time for fun. Gaming is part of my life and part of my fiances life now. We can't get enough of playing games together.  I love the fact that I was able to find someone who loves gaming as much as me and now play two player co-op and kill zombies and aliens and pirates. Once again I just want to remind people that taking time off your day to play can't be wrong unless you have no game.
